These giant hands are outside a building on the eastern corner of Queen St and Eagle St. As a result of these unusual structures, the building quickly became known as the "Hopoate Building", named after a shameful rugby league player. If you don't understand the context, ask someone who follows rugby league, because I can't really explain it here. I don't think the building's owners or managers are too fond of the nickname, but it does show typical larrikin Aussie humour.
