Skywatch Friday: Queensland

queensland by tff

Here's a photo from a while back of a late afternoon rainbow behind the apartment building across the road from where I live. The very unusual sky colour was a hail-storm warning! I hope you like it.

You can see sky photos from all around the world on Skywatch Friday.

Stunning! Rather ominous looking sky except for the rainbow. The promise of better to come and we can always use that reminder!

Enjoy your weekend!

Eerie light - it seems it should be portending something, don't you think?

By the way, I'm just back from Brisbane, and loved the visit.

Yes, I can recall that sky colour from a hail storm in 1994!

You have made a most impressively stark image here. I like it a lot.

Wonderfyl rainbow, the hail can be pretty scarey.

Rainbows have that positive effect, a sign for something better or good to come up.
