Skywatch Friday: Autumn sky

autumn sky by tff

The title is a bit of a misnomer because we don't really get all the seasons here in Brisbane. Summer is hot and sticky, winter is less so. Spring and autumn are only brief transitions. That said, I am glad that summer is over because that season reduces photographic opportunities. The sky is usually so burnt out that you cannot include it in your pictures. And sunrise is so early no sensible person is up and about; plus we do not have a twilight. The sun sets - bang! It's dark...

Now at least sunrise happens at a reasonable hour - taken last Monday morning at 6am. No PP - merely converted from RAW to jpeg and resized.

If I were you, I'd print out all of the skies that you've taken from this angle, frame them and hang them all together somewhere. The colours and reflections are gorgeous.

Lovely piece of work. No photoshop needed! Great scene, but truthfully, even 6am is too early for me.
